Through the Tidy Towns Project, Keep Wales Tidy is able to offer financial assistance to community groups who demonstrate a commitment to tackle environmental projects which will restore their local area to its former glory. These grants are available for cover the cost of:
- Tools and other equipment
- Refreshments
- Insurance
- Awareness raising
- Training
How to apply for a grant
- Before you do anything speak to your local Tidy Towns Project Officer.
- Complete the application form and send it back to your Project Officer who will add their own comments and forward to the Keep Wales Tidy Grants Committee.
- The Grants Committee meet once a month to check that applications have been completed correctly and that all criteria are met.
- You need to be a constituted group. You can find a basic copy of a group constitution here
