Are you fed up of the litter in your town or on your local beach? Are you keen to do something about it? Then why not become a Keep Wales Tidy 'Litter Champion' and keep your local area clean by litter-picking?
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals, who cannot commit to forming, or joining, a local community group, to help us to achieve our vision of a ‘Clean, Safe and Tidy Wales’. Is this you?
Keep Wales Tidy relies on the hard work, goodwill and dedication of its volunteers and by becoming a Litter Champion you can change the behaviour of those who act irresponsibly and inspire them to follow your example!
When you become a Litter Champion, you will get

A Helping Hand Litter-Picking Kit (including a litter picker, gloves and a hi-viz vest)

- Full support of a local Tidy Towns Project Officer
- Free insurance cover
As a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Champion you will need to commit to the following
- Record of all your activities and submit this information to your project officer each quarter
- Write a story on your experiences as a Litter Champion.
- Follow the health and safety guidelines provided.
- Promote Tidy Towns and Keep Wales Tidy to members of your local community and encourage others to get involved.
