As part of Wales Sustainability Week and to recognise the United Nations’ International Day for Biodiversity, Keep Wales Tidy is launching a new wildlife campaign this May in partnership with B&Q.
Have a Wild Weekend for Wales! runs from 20 - 22 May 2011 and aims to improve biodiversity by assisting people to undertake small projects to benefit native species of plants and animals and create new wildlife havens in their locality.
Open to community groups, schools, organisations, families and individuals, Keep Wales Tidy will provide free B&Q gift cards to purchase materials to create new wildlife areas across Wales.
