JD picI will always use reusable bags when shopping and keep spares in my bag and car. Most carrier bags are completely unnecessary and end up cluttering up our cupboards, littering our country or sitting in landfill sites. That is why we have introduced a 5p charge for carriers that will come into force from 1 October this year. Hopefully the charge will encourage everyone to remember to shop with reusable bags.
