Keep Wales Tidy is a registered charity that supports community groups and schools across Wales to improve the quality of the environment. Every year we raise funds to provide volunteers with the vital equipment they need.
If you would to contribute you can donate online, by cheque (made payable to Keep Wales Tidy) or by setting up a standing order. You can download the form here
Every pound you give to Keep Wales Tidy, either as a one-off gift or as a regular donation, will go towards supporting our volunteers on a wide range of community projects all over Wales.
£3 will buy all the materials needed to build and install a simple bird box
Keep Wales Tidy provides the materials and the expertise to help volunteers build simple bird boxes. They have great fun developing new skills and learning about local wildlife.
£8 will buy native seeds to create a wildflower garden
We work with several groups who want to improve the biodiversity of their local area. An easy way to do this is to transform an area of a community garden or school grounds into a vibrant wildlife meadow, attaching butterflies and bees.
£10 will buy hand tools to help volunteers develop allotments and community gardens
Growing food locally and cultivating community gardens that everyone can enjoy is high on the agenda for our volunteers. With your help we can supply them with some of the garden tools they need to make the job a bit easier.
£18 will buy a Litter Champion Kit
Our Litter Champions detest litter and are willing to go that extra mile to keep their local area clean and tidy. We have recently recruited our 100th Champion. With your help we can buy more kits and recruit more people keen to become Litter Champions.
£20 will buy much needed litter picking equipment
Litter is a problem all over Wales. But with a little bit of help from our dedicated Tidy Towns groups, local communities can be cleaner places to live. To carry out litter picks and clean-ups groups need the right equipment and your donations will ensure that they can continue their brilliant work.
£25 will buy 20 native sapling trees
We assist hundreds of groups who want to plant trees in their local communities. We help them plant trees to create wildlife habitats, to create a greener environment or to produce fruit. You donation can help more people plant more trees.
£60 will pay for the insurance needed by a community group
Our Tidy Towns groups need to be able to carry out their work safely. To do this Keep Wales Tidy provides them with insurance. Your donations will allow us to help more groups carry out work in their local community and contributing to a cleaner, safer and tidier Wales.
£120 will build a living willow dome in a school or community garden
With over 90% of schools in Wales now registered with the Eco-schools scheme, it’s not hard to understand why so many schools are turning parts of their playing fields into classrooms.
£400 is the cost checking the water quality on one of our wonderful Welsh beaches
For a Welsh beach to be good enough to receive a Keep Wales Tidy Seaside Award flag it has to meet very strict criteria. One of those is the quality of the water. Over the course of the spring and summer a beach must test its water quality 20 times. Welsh beaches need your help. Your donations will help us maintain the high standard of our beaches.
